Christopher Kemp HLK member since 2000 avid sailor and Waterman. Christopher is an Eagle Scout, Captain, and can pretty much fix anything.
Vice Commodore Travis Lee
Travis Lee. Family, man and father of two. Sailing and member HLK for 28 years.
Technical Lead - Treaf Andrus
A lifelong sailor, rigger, and mechanic. Treaf works tirelessly to keep HLK boats in good working order and safely maintained.
Lead Instructor/Coach Mike Janota
Back Office Guy/Volunteer - Niles Hooper
A lifelong sailor. Started HLK in 1980 with 4 guys, a borrowed sailboat, and a passion for sailing. Served as youth Sailing instructor LYC, HYC and GBC. Offshore racing coach at TAMUG and former director of Community Sailing at Sea Star Base Galveston. Mike holds a USCG 100 Ton Master Credential and is a US Sailing Instructor for basic keelboat, power, and kayak.
